HOW TO MAKE NATURAL DYES AT HOME?

The purpose of sharing these DIY videos is to get my readers inspired to create their own collection of eco-friendly paints, be it plant, animals or minerals.
The idea is to encourage the use of Earth-friendly (environment friendly) pigments and discourage mass production and use of harmful synthetic colors widely available in the market.

Nandana printing is a 300 year old mud resist block-printing technique which is still being practiced in Tarapur, Madhya Pradesh in its original form. Traditionally, ‘Nandana’ print fabric was confined to the women of ‘Bhil’ tribes, but now the art is quite popular and incorporated into other garments, bedspreads, table cloth, other furnishings and upholstery.
